Carnivorous Plants
This is the most interesting plant for me because of its ability to capture insects despite being a plant. We have all know that plants
usually fall victim to bugs, like how a massive swarm of locusts could strip a field full of crops to nothing, so this is just the other way
around. So it is like the ultimate revenge for the plants which prey on insects.
Due to the time spent on caring for mantis, I do not want to venture into another hobby although I have long been interested in having
some carnivorous plant (CP). But there are 3 people who I like to thank for making this happen to me. Getting to know Ray Wong
makes me believe that CP is not as time consuming as a hobby itself and not too complicated. Jeff basically opens my eyes to CP
world and taught me the basic of CP from soil to lightning and plant to CP books. Anita/Mike has introduced me to many tropical CP
that is fascinating. I owed my appreciation to all three of them for making this a nice hobby for myself.
Currently there are not too many CP plants in my 55 gal tank. I am particularly interested with the small type of CP. Here are some of
my CP pictures.
