Devil Flower Mantis Log
(
Blepharopsis mendica)
(1-27-07) Incubating three Devil flower mantis ooth, they are last few ooth from the female but hoping to see any nymphs hatching
out, hopefully in couple of week, but again, only time can tell.
(2-5-2007) After keeping the ooth at high temp of around 90F during day time, about 10 nymphs hatched out today. This is one of
the last few ootheca from the female so i am glad it hatched!
(2-20-2007) Second ooth hatched some nymphs this afternoon. I will put them for sale when they grow older.
(3-1-2007) I have decided to drop this species at this moment. All my extra nymphs have been sold.

Have a few devil flower mantis ootheca hatched out, one hatched out less than 10 but another two hatched out 35 and 45
nymphs. I am letting some go and keeping a few for next generation.
(4-29-2007)
Have another devil flower mantis ootheca hatched out. The breeding stock is at L3 and feeding on fruit flies(D. Hydei). This
species is kind of easy for me since they never required spraying :)) just nice for a lazy person like me :P
